The Maxell 183670 DLT III tape has a native capacity of 10 GB and a compressed capacity of 20 GB. The 183670 Maxell DLT III tape has a tape of length 1200 feet and uses Metal Particle as its tape formulation. With an archival life of 20 years, the 183670 also has a tape durability of about 500,000 passes due to the patented ceramic coated metal particle tape by Maxell. Transfer rates for the 183670 DLT III tape range from 1.25 MB/s to 2.5 MB/s. The Maxell 183670 also features a factory security seal.
